Link Google Forms to Google Sheets — your first real automation in under 15 minutes.
Log into Zapier and click 'Create Zap'. You'll be taken to the Zap editor. On the left you'll see your trigger and action steps. Start with the trigger.
Search for 'Google Forms' and select 'New Response in Spreadsheet'. Connect your Google account. Select the spreadsheet that your form writes to. Zapier will ask you to pick the worksheet — choose Sheet1.
Now add an action step. Search 'Google Sheets' and choose 'Create Spreadsheet Row'. Connect the same Google account. Select your destination spreadsheet and map each column from your form to the right column.
Click 'Test trigger' to pull a sample form submission. Then test your action to make sure the row appears in your spreadsheet. Once everything looks right, click 'Publish'. Your Zap is now live.
